内容記述 | 金沢工業大学工学部情報工学科 向井宏明研究室では,通信ネットワーク,ネットワーク・セキュリティ,IoT関連の研究に取り組んでいる.本研究室からは,2022年度から2023年度にかけて大学院進学予定の学部4年生および修士課程の大学院1年生の合計4名がコーオプ教育に参加した.コーオプ教育への参加については学生の意思を尊重した.コーオプ教育では企業への派遣期間が約4か月と長期間であるため,卒業研究や修士研究との両立方法が課題となる.一方で,情報工学分野は技術の進化が速いという特徴があり,学部3年次までの教科書で記載されている技術と実社会で使われている技術には差がある.このことを考えると,企業での業務経験により卒業研究や修士研究を効率的に進められることが期待できた.本報告では,コーオプ教育に参加した学生へアンケート調査を基に,卒業研究や修士研究とコーオプ教育の両立方法およびコーオプ教育で得られた成果について述べる.アンケート調査の結果から,自己の研究との両立については不安を感じていた学生もいたが,進捗への影響は少ないか,あるいは進捗に影響はあったがそれ以上に得られるものがあったということであった.学生が得た成果としては,研究と方向が一致している場合には業務内容が研究に役立ち,研究と方向が一致していない場合にも将来のために役立ったということであった.また,参加した学生全員が後輩にも勧めたいと述べており,コーオプ教育が学生にとって有益であったと考えられる.;Mukai Hiroaki Laboratory in the Department of Information and Computer Science, College of Engineering, Kanazawa Institute of Technology is conducting research related to communication networks, network security, and IoT. A total of four students from this laboratory participated in the cooperative education, including fourth-year students and first-year master's students who plan to proceed to graduate school from 2022 to 2023. We respected the students' wishes regarding whether or not they wanted to participate in the cooperative education. In cooperative education, students are sent to work at a company for a long period of about four months, making it difficult to balance this with graduation research or master's research. On the other hand, the field of information engineering is characterized by rapid technological evolution, and there is a gap between the technologies described in textbooks for the first three years of undergraduate studies and the technologies used in the real world. Considering this, it was expected that work experience in a company would enable students to progress efficiently in their graduation research and master's research. This report describes how students balance their graduation and master's research with cooperative education, and the results they obtained through cooperative education. The content is based on a questionnaire survey of students who participated in cooperative education. According to the questionnaire survey, some students were concerned about balancing their work with their own research, however the impact on their progress was minimal actually, or they gained more than impact of their own research. The outcomes that students gained were that in case of the work content was in line with their research, it was useful for their research, and even though the work content was not in line with their research, it was useful for their future. Furthermore, all of the students who participated the cooperative education recommend the participation to their juniors. It suggests that the cooperative education is beneficial for the students. |
